Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026

AirPay Inc. ("AirPay", "we", "us", or "our") operates the AirPay mobile application (the "App"), a service that lets you send and receive money and discover people nearby to pay them. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using AirPay, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture. You also choose a username. We use Google and Apple sign-in only; we do not collect a password.

Payment information

When you send or receive money, we store a record of the transaction, including the amount, the counterparties, the date and time, your wallet address, and any note you attach to a payment. Transactions are permanent financial records and cannot be deleted.

Nearby discovery (Bluetooth)

Nearby discovery is optional and off until you turn it on. Before AirPay can use Bluetooth, your device asks for your permission, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in your device settings. When enabled, AirPay uses your device's Bluetooth to detect other AirPay users who are physically close to you at that moment, so you can pay them without exchanging contact details. Important points about how this works:

Device and technical information

We may collect standard technical information needed to operate and secure the App, such as device type, operating system version, and app diagnostics.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

We do not sell your personal or sensitive user data, and we do not transfer it to third parties for monetary consideration.

4. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. We transmit personal and sensitive user data, including your account and payment information, using modern cryptography over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS). We never publicly disclose personal or sensitive user data related to your financial or payment activity. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Because transactions are financial records, we retain transaction data as required to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations, even after other data is deleted.

6. Your choices and rights

7. Children's privacy

AirPay is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of majority required to hold a financial account in their jurisdiction.
